On the programme, there was the project presentation by Inoussa Maiga, Project Manager of Agribusiness TV, followed by video projections on some successful young agripreneurs, testimonial from a young entrepreneur from Burkina Faso present at the ceremony, and messages from the special guests, Mr. Paul Taryam Ilboudo, President of the Agro-Pastoral and Services Society (SAPAS), and Mr. Remis Fulgance Dandjinou, Minister of communication of Burkina Faso.
Agribusiness TV to inspire youth and inform policy makers
From the presentation of the project, the message was clear. We need to change the way we look at agriculture and show the positive sides of what the sector can bring to young people as employment opportunities. There are many young people who are doing great things in agriculture, all along the value chain, and this is what Agribusiness TV wants to bring forward, so as to inspire youth and also inform stakeholders and policy makers on realities on the ground that are not often shown or talked about in the news.
